Toni-Lee Lambert passes NPUA AssessmentWHUA would like to congratulate Toni-Lee Lambert on passing her NPUA assessment on the 27th October. Toni-Lee was assessed on Oxford Hawks v Olton & West Warwickshire, in the Investec Conference West.
Toni-Lee started her umpiring career about two years ago and has progressed from the Development Panel, through the West of England and now becomes the WHUA's second female representative on the NPUA. Toni-Lee was thrilled about passing her assessment and had the following comment: If someone offers you an amazing opportunity and you're not sure you can do it, say yes. Then learn how to do it later. Jon McCall, Joint Development Lead for the WHUA had the following to say:
I could not be more proud of Toni-Lee for all the hard work and dedication which she has shown throughout her time on the Development Panel. It has been a pleasure and it is only onward and upwards now! Chloe McCall, Joint Development Lead for WHUA and fellow NPUA candidate said:
I have had the privilege to know Toni-Lee since she was 12 years old when I first coached her, so I know how determined and dedicated she is. From the first time I umpired with her In The South Wales Women’s League I knew she “had it”. It has been a joy to watch her progress through, from starting her Level 1, to gaining Level 2 in West of England, with her success culminating in her gaining a well deserved Level 3 and NPUA status. I am incredibly proud of her. The WHUA would like to wish her all the best with her future umpiring career, we are sure she will go far.
